Our Story

Having grown up on the Rose Hill estate most of my life and played for Rose Hill when I was a child, I have seen first-hand the benefit the facility of youth football can bring. Along with the community centre and other key groups in the area, it helps create a hub for the area and a sense of identity for the local residents to buy into and be proud of.

Sport is well known to brings down barriers, and will be the perfect way to create and establish bonds between the various micro communities on the estate, all in the sense of a common goal. No pun intended.

We restarted Rose Hill after many years in 2018, after many years since the club ceased previously. It was our objective that football is played the right way and focuses on the development of the individual both technically and more importantly as a person. We NEVER advocate a ‘win at all costs mentality’ and will ensure this is the case for all the teams at the club. It is all about fun and being part of something bigger than yourself and making life long friendships.

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to gain the needed FA qualifications and create additional teams. The more teams, the more kids and wider age range of children we can get involved.
